Singer 185k

Loving the green! The Singer 185 is a 3/4 sized machine, very similar to the 99 in a different outfit. They are sturdy and compact but not light! Mine is in a cabinet, most often they are found in travel cases.  Straight stitch machine, another good one for piecing. I like that the cabinet doesn't take up a lot of room. They are belt driven, easy to oil and maintain. This one didn't have a manual, but they are easy to find and download for free on the Singer website.  Another thing that I like about the 185 is that it's a short shank so the feet and attachments are pretty easy to find.
